WOOP WOOP!
So I totally forgot to tell you guys that I registered to vote Oct.3.
I was definately cutting it close but I had to get my I.D done before I could register.
So I go to the dreaded DMV which is way out in some remote area to get my I.D done.
I'm feeling Confident,I got all my documentation ,I'm looking good, smelling good,tasting good :)
I get there and this sweet lady at the front desk gave me this little yellow slip to fill out before I got to the Gargoyle's that reviewed all my info.
I get this chick who's rubbing lotion in her hands and She comes off to me as just a little bit snobby.
She looks at my stuff and much to my surprise seems pretty cool until she got to my W2 form.
She looked at it briefly and then asked one of the other Gargoyles if they took w2 forms and the bitch said no!
So Me and my mother are like" well why? It's a federal document proving my residence"
She said "we don't take it"... nothing more nothing less
So I'm now I'm heated!
We came all the way out here to get turned away.
I was really pissed because it was the day before the deadline for registration!
I just wanted to get it done man
So while walking threw the parking lot I'm cursing the chick out as if she was there while
my mother was stared at the w2 form trying to figure why the didn't take it.
We get in the car and look around for a piece of mail with my name it for 5 minutes before she realizes that they have to take it.
The pamphlet said they needed a federal, state or government issued piece of mail received with the past year to prove my residence and my 2007 w2 form was mailed out January 2008.
So now we storming back threw the parking lot ready to raise hell.
My mother told the lady at the from the front desk the problem and she was like" well i don't know what the problem is,Let me take you to the supervisor".She was very nice and so was the supervisor she read and ok'd it quick.
I WAS SO HAPPY!
I went back to the Gargoyles and they let me threw I got my I.D and to me and my mothers surprise they let me register to vote at the same time!
So Thats it Yall I'm REGISTERED TO VOTE!!!!
YESSSS!!!!
