What The Fcuk Have you Done Lately?

"Wanted" was a great movie. If you haven't seen it you should go out and watch it before reading this post. I might ruin it for ya.
Now I'm not about to blab about the movie, just about the ending.
It ended in a question.
The question was
"What the fuck have you done lately?" and
While the crowd clapped and stood to leave
I sat there
What the fuck have I done lately?
I'm 19 with no job , a shit load of aspirations and
I've been holding on to $40 for the last 2 weeks.

At what point and time am I gonna get up and do it what the fuck i gotta do!

Time is money!

I realized then and there that I hadn't been doing ANYTHING
I needed to cut the bullshit and at least get a job !
So I've filled out an application at the hospital.
hey, its a start.

He is beyond amazing!I got into him about 3 years ago and I've been hooked ever since. He's one of the most Animated, Creative,Aggressive and Precise performers you will ever see in your life!
He is the man behind Beyonce's 2008 Grammy Performance and one of the forces behind "Freakum Dress" .Now he is taking a break from choreography and focusing on his own music career. With songs like "Bitch you betta", "I'm In control","Squeeze" and " The Kids" he is doing the damn thing and very quickly making a name for himself!
I try to go see him as often as possible.
The last time I went to see him I got the pleasure of meeting and hanging with him and a few of his dancers a close friends Ramon, Nancy And Kooan.I had so much fun.

A home in Mahwah,New Jersey went up in flames after a smoke alarm short circuited and fell from the ceiling into a pile of clothes.
Am I the only one that finds this to be incredibly ironic.
I remember when I was younger this commercial used to come on it said
" Fire alarms save lives". Definitely not in this case.

you can read more about the fire in the article below.

MAHWAH - A malfunctioning smoke detector started a fire Thursday in a Franklin Crossings condominium, police said.

The homeowner called 911 just after 2 p.m., when he heard a smoke alarm go off and found heavy smoke and visible flames in a second-story room. Mahwah firefighters responded, with the help of the Ramsey Fire Department, and extinguished the blaze in about 20 minutes.

A specially trained fire investigator with the Mahwah Police Department found that a smoke detector in a second-story room had short-circuited and fallen from the ceiling, igniting a pile of clothes below, Mahwah police Lt. Bruce Kuipers said.

The only resident of the home, a man in his 70s, was not injured. No other units in the complex were damaged.

WHAT?

So one day 2 weeks ago I was on myspace it was one of those" view all friends" days, I was bored. I had not been home for a week, running around with friends dancing so though I was bored I was content . So on myspace I found a company through the people I did the fashion for. They were an image consultant company. They Hit me back via myspace message in the
subject line was a question " Is this really you?", So now I'm having mixed feelings about opening it (lol) but I did anyway
here is the message
Subject: Is this really you?

"I just received your friend request. Long story short. I am an image consultant and conduct workshops to individuals who are exploring the idea of becoming an image consultant. Yesterday, during the workshop, my class and I were discussing the different fashion styles of potential clients. This photo was used to illustrate one with an artistic/creative style of dressing. The photograph generated a lot of dialogue. You might imagine my shock to receive your friend request with this profile picture. I would absolutely love to be your MySpace friend. If you are the individual in the picture, and even if you are not, you certainly have a keen appreciation for impeccable style."

So picture this .....
I was Sitting in front of the computer, jaw dropped , drool dripping all over the keys , Baffled!
How are People having workshops about one of my pictures? These people are located in Detroit! How could they have gotten it?
Then I thought...
The picture was taken by Scott Schuman of the thesartorialist.com. He blogs about peoples everyday street style and I was featured In May. They probably got the picture from his blog...
So the questions stopped swirling threw my mind and then my ego started to set in
lol I was extremely flattered!
you guys don't even know but
enough of that

The BET Awards

Ok Now Look. I'm very supportive of my people but I couldn't help but to be embarrassed watching the BET Awards Pre show. The ridiculous Humpty Dumpty music that was being performed became unbearable and is it me or did everybody forget how to dress when going to an award show?????? I mean these are the same people that when they go to the mtv awards pull out all the stops! What the fuck was going on that night. Pretty Ricky looked like there suits were made of the cheapest of fabrics in bright gold none the less. The dude that sings "Get Silly" got the most laffs of the night. My friends and I couldn't help but to think that we were watching a Modern day Menstral SHOW! It got to a point were I was wishing that nobody white was watching the show,Really that nobody was watching it period. A few other embarrassing things about the show included Keisha Cole's mother Dropping it like it was hot in her Gown! and then throwing her ass up on the young men of Pretty Ricky.C'mon Your On Live TV At an Awards show in a gown and you are the mother of 4 time nominated R&B Songstress Keisha Cole. I was so embarrassed for her! I know that if I watched the show afterwards and saw my mother acting like that I'd be pissed! But moving right along to a little later after Keisha Cole's mother dropped it like it was hot. The CEO of BET came up on stage to speak and got NO respect from the people on the stage with her. She cut it short and kept it moving but I know she was mad. Long story short it was straight buffoonery Before long the bet awards is going to be like the SoulTrain awards with NO ONE in attendance. Because the performances are getting less and less thought out and Less entertaining .All the music sounds alike there is absolutely no variety in black music anymore and ain't nobody talking bout shit worth hearing! OOOOHHH MY GOD!! I almost forgot about T-PAIN!!!!! He Had this top hat on made with some crazy black and silver metallic printed fabric and a suit to match! He sang "Ring Leader Man"...or something and the performance was so bad. He had people dressed in white lion and unicorn costumes and girls with .. get this... Apple Bottom Booty shorts and blond Afro's ... on stilts popping that ass for the world to see. NO SHAME... It was so bad That was another point that was extremely embarrassed for us because these are the people with the loudest voice right now and they don't realize that they represent us to the rest of the world! I'm not saying that you can't write a few party songs here and there but at what point and time do you start things about the over all integrity of your music? Do your songs have the potential to be classics? You talk about how fucked up it was growing up in your hood but you only sing about how fly you are? Tell me whats going on where you from. I'm not talking about how many dudes are out there selling drugs because they can't get a job because they dropped out of school.Let me know the crazy shit that will open up my eyes .Cuz you gotta think about it. Most of these " artists" are from the south , you know it's crazy for a black man down there. You KNOW! So let me know! Blow the whistle on they asses! lol Lots-o-love JAZze
