I went to Brooklyn yesterday and saw John Legend and Estelle. Estelle is like my new favorite artist, She's so cool. I lover her personality and she's so personal and down to earth AND her performance was great!She was great fun to watch. John Legend was Amazing ! I found out that his entire family sings as well and they all share that grainy soulful sound. His brother opened the show and there were certain points in his song that he would sound exactly like John, it was crazy. John legend climbed about ten spots up on my list of fave musicians, he's really great and you can tell that he really loves the music and performing.While looking for a video of his to put in this post I came across this. In this video it looks as though john was really feeling Chicky boo's dancing skills.

I went to central park summer stage this sunday and I can describe it in two words FUCKING HOT. It was 9 something degrees and People were literally wearing bathing suits,yes it was that serious.
The music was the shit me and my friends had a great time but after the first 2 hours I was done. I had to sit my little ass down before i passed out But I got up quick to see the House of Danga Cats vogue down! The white girl ate ! Her hands and arms were clean and perfect she was very Ninja.
Kid Cudi was cool and Diplo and A-trak were dope as usual. And the main event SANTAGOLD was cute her dancers were too cute for me! lol me and the crew were learning the choreography and doing it with them! lol Great fun. After leaving we met up with kesh which was a very pleasant surprise my friends got pictures with her

I'm at a point in my life were I'm beginning to see things more clearly, people more clearly.I've notice that as of late no matter how nice or helpful you are certain people are just always going to want more from you,People that I consider to be good friends & family.The friend that only calls or comes around when he/she needs something from you and The close friend of the family that ended all contact with you when you didn't want a part in their elaborate scheme on the road to stardom.
It's all just whacked.I don't like to feel used.I give and I do for people what I would like done for me, common courtesy. I'm beginning to think thats not the case though.
This year is one of change.It's time to make it all happen for myself. It's time to stay close to people that are trying to do the same and or be as much of a friend to me as I am to them.I don't tolerate negativity very well so I will remove it all,simple as that It only makes things complicated for me.I need not to be focused on why people can't see the good in what I do only the bad.It's always the bad they focus on... after all the years and all the favors and all the time spent on helping them with there dramas and issues in the end they don't even remember it. So they are gone.I wanna be happy and successful and fulfilled and after making all the necessary changes in my life and in my self I will be.

Yes Yes Yall she's pregnant with her third child with rapper Jay Electronica. but apparently some people don't liek the fact that she is having kids out of wedlock and thewrote some fucked up shit about her on message boards and stufff here's what she had to say:

Shortly after news surfaced about singer Erykah Badu's new pregnancy with rapper Jay Electronica, internet fans flocked to their favorite message boards to give their opinion of the newly discovered relationship -- most were mixed.

Many commented, mostly negative, about Badu's growing number of baby's daddies -- she has one child with Andre 3000 of Outkast, and another with west coast rapper The D.O.C. Now, Jay Electronia is added to that list.

After reading some of the feedback, Badu struck back, obviously annoyed with the negative remarks of fans, via a post on OkayPlayer.com.

"How date you disrespect the queendom ... and my children and my intelligence. I've never been so disgusted in all of my life," the singer began in her rant.

Badu went on to plead her case, explaining how serious she takes being a mother. She states that she has raised two very good children, and acts as both the mother and father in most cases.

"I am a great mother and caregiver to my two children, and to this world," Badu wrote. "My children are two of the kindest and happiest people I have met ... I am their doctor and their nurse, and even sometimes their mother and their father. I am an excellent mother and resent all of the negative comments and insults on my character."

She continues her response with an explanation of her relationships with Andre and D.O.C., explaining that she didn't go into each situation lightly, before asking how having a child out of wedlock is better than marrying and then later divorcing.

"I put much time and though into having and raising my children. I've had the honors of having two home births and two wonderful partners by my side. Every relationship I have been in was because i loved the person dearly and was dedicated to us 'exclusively' for a number of years. The fathers of my children are my brothers and friends. We have a great deal of respect for one another and always will. We love out children to no end. We took our own 'vows' and continue to uphold them, and that is what that is. Question? What is marriage? Who is the judge? ... Would it 'look better' to marry and divorce and marry again?"

As far as fans' comments, Badu said they "lack experience" and "are not only careless, but also very uninformed and immature."

She did, however, admit that she may lose a few fans, but didn't care, refusing to bite her tongue.

"If I lose you as a fan because I want to continue to have children, then f*** off ... who needs you ... certainly not me ... kick rocks ... call Tyrone ... pack light ... bite me," Badu wrote.

At the end, she signs off with a big "kiss my placenta."
