Knicks Poetry Slam

Me and my homeboy Stroody the Alien went to the Knicks poetry slam at the Bowery this weekend to show love and support to our Urban word family..We were taking pictures the whole way there ..lol.. while on the train a homeless man got on and began to sing.. he had an amazing voice.. and for the first time in a long time I was moved to give money..It's so hard sometimes because you dont know who to believe most of the time..but i just had a good feeling about this guy..anyway
THE KNICKS POETRY SLAM .. It was such a beautiful experience.. The poetry was especially wonderful I think because everybody was so hungry.. for that scholarship money..
I wish I could have recorded some of them or even remembered to take pictures during the performances but I was to wrapped in the excitement of it all =] but I did remember to take pictures when the finalist were called up....
Congrats to Jadon.Dom-o.Brook.Tia.Kev.Bintu.Jorge. and everyone else that made it
