Afro-Punk Festival

I met up with a friend of my mine Patrice of the CrooklynChronicles.com (check it out) She and I Had great time at the Afro-Punk Festival yesterday. My love Janelle Monae gave a Great! performance ,singing some of me and Patrice's favorites "Sincerely Jane" and "Letting go" ! If you don't know Janelle Monae by now you should def Google her because she is a Creative force to be reckoned with! And it would be pitty for you to go any longer without her music.

Aside from Janelle Monae they're were also performances by The Apes, Shawn Hewitt And Millsted .I didn't get there early enough to hear Millsted But I came in soon enough to hear Shawn Hewitt as he Covered one of my favorite songs by Prince "Purple Rain". He definitely did it justice, His voice was smooth ands soulful,I enjoyed it. The apes Were Dope!
They Gave crazy Energy, Crazy personality and There music was hot.

The Fourth annual Afro-punk Festival is scheduled to run from July 4th -13th
